The Rounds raises $38M Series A for its sustainable ‘household restocking’ service
The model employed by The Rounds involves what it calls reverse logistics — a system where online goods aren’t just delivered to the consumer, but their empty containers are also picked back up at the same time.
The system involves not only forward, but also reverse logistics for consumers to send back containers to the source. This concept is a similar idea to what Nathan Faust’s Olive is doing for traditional merchandise, but instead this is more for CPG and pharmacy items.
