Locus Robotics secures $50 million in additional funding to accelerate global expansion

A provider of autonomous mobile robots for fulfillment warehouses.

Locus was founded by Bruce Welty, who is also the co-founder of Quiet Logistics, when he found that after Kiva's acquisition by Amazon, there were not enough third-party providers of robotics.
