Online Grocery Discount Store Martie Raises $7M

Martie, founded in 2021 by Kari Morris and Louise Fritjofsson, aims to revolutionize the online discount store market by offering surplus inventory from various brands at discounted prices of up to 70%. Initially focusing on self-stable groceries, Martie has expanded into non-food categories such as beauty, cleaning supplies, pets, household items, and kitchenware.

Online grocery discount store Martie has raised $7 million. Why is this interesting? Martie aims to lessen food waste by offering surplus supplies at deeply discounted prices and is also focusing on a different part of the grocery sector.
