AirTerra acquired by American Eagle Outfitters

AirTerra is a logistics startup that has developed a shipper aggregator system it claims will not only deliver packages to businesses more quickly but do so with greater reliability and less cost.

This was the most surprising recent announcement for me. I still can't answer the question "why this acquirer?"
