Avalara Acquires Invoice Platform Hopscotch

Avalara is a leading provider of tax compliance automation software for businesses of all sizes.

Hopscotch is a fintech company that helps small businesses get paid in real-time with no fees. Hopscotch's services include invoicing, bill pay, and cash flow control.

Avalara has acquired a B2B invoice and bill payment platform, Hopscotch, for an undisclosed amount. When Vista Equity Partners acquired Avalara in 2022, it put in motion the PE playbook to acquire growth via companies such as Hopscotch to offer more services to the small and medium-sized business sector.
