What to Fix First When It All Seems Broken

Sometimes all hope seems lost, but in #ecommercebusiness there is always a path forward.

Here are the first 3 things to fix if everything seems broken.

If 10 people you ask to try out your product don't rave about your product, start here. Fix your product first. This includes the softer issues like defects, delivery, unboxing and setup.

This is the easiest thing to fix and gives you leverage over everything else.

If your top customers who already know you aren't buying more or using more, fix this next. Figure out what is stopping them.

If you personally introduce 10 new people in your target market to your website and on their own they cannot figure out what it is and why it's important to them, fix this next. Keep working on your website until each new person you talk to wants to tell 2 other people they know.
