3PLCentral Acquires Skubana

So excited to see Chad Rubin partner up with another eCommerce leader Andy Lloyd at 3PLCentral - as long as I have known Chad - and this is before Skubana, Chad's vision is always inspiring. No one is going to outwork him and he knows eCommerce numbers like the back of his hand.

The transformation happening in supply chain goes like this:

  • Dusty / half-filled warehouses -> automation and efficiency

  • Chains -> networks

  • Single-source partners -> real-time metrics-driven bidding + awards

  • 3PLs -> 4PLs (I called this supply chain as a service)

  • 4 month EDI projects -> seamless out of the box connectivity

  • Outsourced shipping -> fully p&l & process improvement accountability

This is what the market expects now, and it's exciting to see the next generation of supply chain take place.
