The Folklore Group secures $1.7 million, launches fashion B2B e-commerce platform

The startup’s new wholesale business, dubbed The Folklore Connect, will link luxury fashion brands in emerging markets to bulk retailers in North America and, later, Europe.

This is the first concept I've seen like this. Will be interesting to watch as I think Africa is an untapped and long-term opportunity.
