Lowe’s sells its Canadian retail business to Sycamore Partners

Based in Boucherville, Quebec, Lowe’s Canadian retail business operates a network of around 450 corporates and independent affiliate dealer stores.

Canada represents about 7% of the total business today and the business is being acquired for $400 M in cash.  Sycamore Partners is a private equity firm focused on retail and consumer investments.
