Gryphon Investors Acquire Majority Stake In Spindrift Sparkling Water

Spindrift is an American sparkling water and soda company.

San Francisco-based private investment firm Gryphon Investors has acquired a majority stake in sparkling water with a real squeezed fruit brand for an undisclosed amount. In conjunction with the new investment, founder and CEO, Bill Creelman will transition to a new position, chair of the board while Dave Burwick will be its new CEO. Creelman and the Spindrift management team will retain a significant equity stake. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
