Cap Hill Brands raises more than $100 million in Series B round led by BlackRock

Cap Hill Brands is a Seattle-based e-commerce company founded and run by industry veterans Jason LeeKeenan and Kevin Saliba. The company, founded in 2020, has acquired nearly 35 brands and grown to more than 200 employees. The idea is to supercharge each brand with centralized operations, technology infrastructure and management.

Cap Hill Brands is a vehicle designed to acquire consumer-based CPG brands and grow them.  I’m a little surprised these types of businesses are being funded in this economy but I expect that likely half to two-thirds of this $100 Million is actually debt and not equity.  The company is hiring a lot of experienced executive operators, so we will see what happens with them going forward.
