Authentic Brands Group Acquires Intellectual Property of Fashion Brand Vince

Authentic Brands Group is a global brand development, marketing and entertainment platform.

Vince, established in 2002, is a leading global luxury apparel and accessories brand best known for creating elevated yet understated pieces for every day effortless style.

Authentic Brands Group is one of the largest brand licensing firms in the world and its own by Jamie Salter.  Vince sold this for $76 million dollars to ABG, but still holds a 25% interest in the new entity.  While Vince will pay an ongoing royalty fee to the new IP owner, it will also receive 25% of the cash generated by the business.  If you’ve ever watched Shark Tank, this is one of those deals that Mr. Wonderful would love.
