Webiny nabs $3.5M seed to build serverless development framework on top of serverless CMS

An early-stage startup that launched in 2019 with an open-source, serverless CMS.

I think content management systems are being squeezed these days and incorporated more and more into platforms. Shopify has announced it will build its own, which means that I think that BigCommerce could be forced to make a similar move soon. The fact that Microsoft has a venture fund is interesting and something I didn’t realize, but looking at their website they are making dozens of investments.
