Get Answers to Critical Questions
While every due diligence is somewhat unique, for every investor it often boils down to a few critical questions:
What is the eCommerce potential of this company if all restrictions were removed?
What investments will be required to grow the Target’s revenue 3-5x from its current levels?
What red flags or risks are there in the business today, or that might appear as part of the Target’s growth?
Learn About Our Process
-
Time is of the essence.
Before purchase, you want to know what is lurking “under the sheets” in order to avoid costly or time-consuming post-acquisition surprises.
We produce an impactful assessment of the company you’re thinking about purchasing.
-
Insurance companies and other interested parties are often interested in the opinion of an outside expert to reduce risk and certify the details of the deal.
Although our reports are comprehensive, they have simple, readable executive summaries which can be understood by all parties involved.
-
Investments can be competitive situations, so we tailor the length of the engagement to fit your timeline.
We’re also able to follow up later as part of final diligence after we’ve reached a point where you’re able to make an investment decision.
Our Approach
-
High-Level Assessment
During Phase 1, our team’s goal is to deliver an initial assessment based on a CEO interview, a limited data request, and a competitive market analysis. The usual areas of focus include marketing, technology, merchandising, and supply chain.
-
Deeper Dive
The goal of Phase 2 will be to dive deeper into the areas initially explored in Phase 1. We’ll do extended interviews, data requests, and competitive analysis in order to gain insights we weren’t able to uncover previously.
-
Presentation of Findings
The ultimate goal of the engagement is to deliver results analyzing the client’s current business along a number of important dimensions to document the learnings, and provide an assessment of the Company’s current situation. Our findings will be presented to the client, and from there we are able to determine next steps. Assessment engagements can move into Strategic Planning or Business Optimization engagements.
