Fanatics just raised $1.5B at a $27B valuation.

Seriously, a $27 B valuation! That's all there is to write about this.

But seriously, that is an unbelievable valuation which indicates just how expansive this company is planning on becoming.

I also forgot that it owns half of hat retailer Lids Sports group, which it acquired in 2019. I would expect Fanatics to create its own retail experience as well.

Even for Michael Rubin (who is one of the few people I never bet against in anything they are doing), that is a high valuation to live up to.

Will definitely be interesting to see where this goes from here.
