Chowbotics was founded in 2014, and its fresh food robot Sally — a rectangular machine that’s essentially a salad vending machine — can create customizable salads, grain and poke bowls, parfaits, cereals, and snacks all within a small space

The idea was that robots were supposed to make you a salad in an unattended kiosk.  The idea that you can put healthy food that spoils in an unattended kiosk is probably not the smartest one.

Of course I have to be honest, I included this in here just to use the word Chowbotics in the podcast.
