Anyone who has tried to work with a web development agency to make their site accessible knows there is almost no clarity in terms of what you should be doing, based on the fact there are no consistent regulations.

There is new legislation being looked at to change the situation, in particular to dismiss the frivolous or predatory lawsuits out there right now - which are rampant.

A developer friend passed this along to me yesterday - while I'm not holding my breath, I'm encouraged at least someone in Congress is thinking about this problem at all.

In the meantime ....... it's the wild west
